Book Review: The Third Jesus by Deepak Chopra
May 3rd, 2010 | 1 Comment
The Third Jesus: The Christ We Cannot Ignore, is a metaphysical masterpiece, bringing Jesus to the practical minded while still honoring the religious devotee’s viewpoint of Jesus. The book points out the first Jesus, which of course is the historical Jesus who lived over two millenia ago, and whose appearance on this Earth laid the foundation for Christian thought. This first Jesus is based upon the historical data we have about the man called Jesus that lived amongst the people of Palestine 2000 years ago. Dr. Chopra moves on to present the second Jesus, who is the revered Son of God, who the actual religious teachings of Christianity are based upon, and whom Christians revere until this day. This second Jesus is shaped and formed not necessarily from the historical Jesus, but from a list of scriptural … Read entire article »

Namaste

Know that when you look upon another person and see the Divine in them and recognize it as the Divine in yourself, you have reached true Equality, and God is manifest in you. Reaching the state of the Divine is as simple as truly looking upon another and seeing the Divinity that is you in them, because it is then that you understand the oneness of God. Despite the shortcomings of people you see, the more often you recognize their divinity the easier it will be to recognize your own divine nature, and excuse your own shortcomings. By excusing your own shortcomings you are not making excuses for yourself or diminishing who you are, you are only being merciful and allowing room for growth and development. The mercy you show … Read entire article »

Mystery Or Mastery
April 11th, 2010 | 4 Comments
In this day of growing information where Popes are blatantly found to be guilty of covering up sexual misconduct by priests, and where celebrities who would once be idolized as saints have their lives exposed on television, radio, and the Internet as promiscuous gallivanters, everyone is confronted with setting a new standard in our lives. I witness more and more people, particularly those under 45 years of age, identify themselves as “spiritual” rather than belonging to a particular religious organization or sect, or simply saying, “I believe in God”. Fundamental religious followers may sum this up as a lack of faith amongst this generation, however the answer is much deeper. Catholicism and traditional Christianity are at best given lip service these days by most, but not because of a lack of morals or concern, but clearly due to a major change … Read entire article »

Seeing God Within Self
April 7th, 2010 | 1 Comment
Practice seeing God as an aspect of yourself, as your divine mind, your true self. See that divine mind probing the womb of creation itself, accessing the Source of all things. Source is where all things have their genesis, unmanliest and unformed. See the divine mind as releasing your most dominant thoughts and desires into the womb of creation, activating the very things and situations you desire from Source. You are the father of creation, and Source its mother. Perform the great consummation on a daily basis, and let the world created be your child. … Read entire article »

The Deal With Metaphysics
February 1st, 2010 | Add a Comment
Many people ask me what metaphysics really means, or ask me to give them the “real deal” on metaphysics. Metaphysics means “beyond physics”, or “beyond the physical”. To be more accurate, metaphysics is the discipline of science dealing with the study of phenomena or energies of the subatomic level. The atom is considered the foundation of the physical world, it being the smallest particle considered to be mass: that which has weight and takes up space as we measure it. Of course in modern science we know that there is a lot more to reality than what exists at the atomic level. Studies involving electrons, protons, neutrons, photons, microwaves, x-rays, and the like have shown us the very real world that exists beyond the atom. In the 21st Century it is … Read entire article »

The God Mind
January 12th, 2010 | Add a Comment
The subject of mind and brain is one of age old debate. Is the mind located in the brain, located in the body with the brain as a base, or outside of the localized lump of gray matter we call our brain and outside the body as well? Practical thinkers will argue that teachings of a mind outside of the body is a mystery teaching with no basis in reality, while thinkers on the other end of the spectrum will insist that the brain is simply a receiving station for a non-localized mind which permeates the Universe. There is mounting evidence that it is not possible that the mind be located in the brain or the body, since individuals can access information that they absolutely have not physically come into contact … Read entire article »
